Just tried going through security with my iPad 2 tucked safely away in my backpack like I always do. Today however the TSA agent asked to remove it, inspect it, then rerun it through their Xray scanners again.
When I asked them about the policy for iPads (you didn't have to remove them before) they told me that my device looked sufficiently different on Xray than an iPad that is why they asked to see it. Seems like those expensive iPad teardowns could have been avoided just by going through airport checkin. Anyone else out there with an iPad 2 have the same experience?
